Yosemit is a consummate professional and a genuinely nice person. He shows up on time and prepared with his digital and hands-on materials. He thoroughly covers the topics at hand with authority and respect. Yosemit answers any and all questions, honestly and completely. His courses are not cheap, but you get what you pay for.

Yosemit is extremely knowledgeable, patient, personable, and accommodating. He provided excellent instruction during both the Intro to Tactical Trauma Care and Intro to Home Defense courses. Yosemit answered all of our many questions thoroughly and conducted himself in a highly professional and straightforward manner. His extensive experience and impressive background make him an exceptional instructor.

I took the In-Person Concealed Carry 1 course, and I can say with confidence it was very informative. This is an essential course if you’d like to become a more responsible gun owner. As a black belt in BJJ, I understand being taught from just anyone can be detrimental, and hold your progress back. Yosemite isn’t just anyone, that’s exactly why I chose to do this course with him. He is extremely informative and is open to all kinds of questions that involve any scenario you can think of. Everyone in class seemed to have fun and learn, and that’s always a great combination.

I took one of Yosemit’s in person concealed carry 1- getting started course, and feel as though it will be a great start to my firearms journey. Instruction was great and he kept me engaged and interested during the entire 4 hour training.

My wife and I recently completed the NRA home safety course, as well as some range instruction, with Yosemite. It was a top tier experience top to bottom. Yosemite was extremely knowledgeable and had answers for all of our questions, and delivered it in an easy to process manner. We both left our course feeling more comfortable and knowledgeable than we ever expected. We are excited for the next steps in our LTC journey and have straight shooter to thank for that.

There are good shooters and there are exceptional shooters. Exceptional shooters know how to articulate the finest details of what it takes to make you a proficient shooter. Yosemite is a first class instructor He is engaged, articulate and takes making you a better shooter to heart. From the very first time you meet him you will feel his commitment to making you better. They say great teachers define their success by the success of the people they teach, Yosemite clearly embodies this with his instructing style and knowledge. Every hour with him goes by so fast because he keeps you learning, drilling and getting better. I truly am fortunate to be able to train with Yosemite. You will be glad you did too.

We booked Yosemit for the 4 of us. He brought his set up to our friends house and taught his class there. The PowerPoints were informative and not at all dull. As someone who’s only experience with guns was through video games, it was really neat to see the different mechanics in play. Yosemit also was very funny and friendly when answering our interesting questions.

Thanks to him, I now have my LTC. I’ll most likely be getting another class soon.

Yos taught an intro to handguns lesson to my three children and one of our neighbors kids. He did an excellent job, starting with safety and allowing them to handle different types of firearms. It is so important for young kids to know what to do if they find a gun and how dangerous they are in the hands of someone without training. I can’t recommend Yos highly enough as an instructor. Five stars.

It was very informative and hands on in some instances which is a great way for me to learn. Overall a great instructor that was able to pay attention to key details and answer any questions I had.

This class was a great introduction to firearm safety and how to handle firearms properly without causing any accidents to you or your loved ones! My instructor Yosemit Marrero was fantastic at explaining the ins and outs of any type of firearm as well as the laws and the do’s and don’t of owning a firearm! Highly recommend this class to anyone who is interested in owning or purchasing a firearm weather it be for sport, hunting or protecting yourself or loved ones.

Training with Yosemit was an awesome experience. I was very nervous and scared about handling, firing and over all safety but, Yosemit made me feel safe, comfortable, and an overall relaxing experience. I will definitely be going back to take some more self-defense courses and weapon handling training. If you are like me, unsure nervous and have alot of questions, Yosemit is the guy to go to.

I met Yosemit through the courses he teaches at Mass Firearms, and I was immediately drawn to his passion for the sport and detail oriented approach in teaching. I reached out to him for private instruction in rifle shooting, and I had a great time and learned a lot. I’m looking forward to continuing to work with him to further refine my skills.

Today I had a one on one session to work on some issues I have been unable to diagnose for some time. Working with Yosemit, he was able to pinpoint the exact mechanics as to why I was these having issues. With his attention to detail, expertise and specific instructions we were able to mitigate the problem & improve on the issue I was having. He is extremely versed in his craft and very helpful with taking the proper steps to fix whatever issue you may be having. Can’t say enough good things about the session & instructor!

I recently took this MFA class and it was full of useful and valuable information; Yosemit was great! This course was well paced, he effectively answered all the participants’ questions, and I’m now far more informed in regards to this topic. Highly recommended for any MA resident in order to avoid stepping on any “land mines” regarding the use of weapons in the home.

Yosemit did a fantastic job with his verbal and video supporting presentation. I’ve taken conceal carry classes at other facilities and yours was the first I’ve taken from a law enforcement officer perspective. So glad I did. I appreciate his help with introducing a whole new mind set concerning the overall responsibility of owning/transporting/carrying a firearm. It’s not just concealment and practicing punching holes in paper targets. He put a lot out there for us to unpack and reflect upon going forward. (visually, legally, mentally, and emotionally). My only regret is not taking his safety class also. I’m looking forward to his conceal carry 2 class next week.

Took both my safety course and 1st shooting lessons with Yosemit. An absolute amazing instructor. He is very informative, answered all my questions , and made sure I fully understood. Took his time teaching and making sure I felt comfortable as it was my first time ever shooting. Also gave me great tips to use while shooting. I recommend Yosemit 1000 %!!
